Oh yeah, definitely. I wasn't being too detailed here and even a bit facetious because of spoilers, but yeah definitely agree that ryukishi is saying that a single objective truth isn't everything. I'm fine with Ange giving up the need for a single truth, but I don't necessarily agree that she needs to rehabilitate her family legacy in her mind. I think Erika's fight with Rosa captures my feelings really well. Sure, Rosa "loves" Maria, I can accept that. But does feeling "love" even matter in the face of both the personal and structural abuse inflicted on Maria? Low-key I think we need family abolitionist ryukishi.
